ERIS Experts - Lenka Jančovičová (Fabianová)

Poverty, HIV/AIDS, environmental degradation, shortage of water, poor access to health and social services are just a few of the main challenges of global world today. Each country plays an important role throughout the world to meet the eight Millennium Development Goals and to reduce the gap between poor and rich, contribute to global peace and security. European countries are component part of these efforts and mostly it is realized through humanitarian assistance and development cooperation.

Lenka Jančovičová is one of ERIS´s members specialized on humanitarian and development cooperation in the field of, child nutrition, child protection and children living with HIV/AID in Sub- Saharan Africa. She has experience as a project coordinator of health and social development projects; she has three years field experience in Kenya. She is working in the field of management of malnutrition, PMTCT, psycho-social assistance to HIV/AIDS children, rehabilitation of street children. She is also lecturer at Trnava University, Faculty of Health and Social Work, participating on development educational activities. She has participated on few research projects in the mentioned areas. She is project manager for project focusing on reducing child malnutrition in Kenya.

She published few publications in this area, national and international.

ERIS can provide consultancy, training and research to governmental, national and local agencies from its experts at Europe wide and local level.
